CHRISTIN DICKERSON

 

Christin Lynn Dickerson (née Chapelle), of Kincardine, died at her residence on Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010, in her 61st year. 

 

Beloved wife of Joe Dickerson. 

 

Dear mother of Sean O'Brien, of Japan; and Darren O'Brien, of London

 

Lovingly remembered by brother Lee (Grace) Chapelle, of Vancouver

 

Sadly missed by her step-sons Stefan Dickerson, of Ottawa; and Mike Dickerson, of Kincardine. 

 

Visitation was held on Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010 from noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home in Kincardine, with Crystal Morais officiating.

GISELLE FORD

 

Giselle Elizabeth Ford (née Alarie), of Kincardine, died at the Hanover and District Hospital on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, in her 79th year. 

 

Dear mother of Bernice Trivers, of Matheson; and Clayton Ford, of R.R. 1, Kincardine. Loving grandmother of Shane Ford; and Joel, Jonathon, Janna and Julie Trivers. 

 

Sadly missed by her sisters Olivette (Aurel) Bisson and Lucille (Maurice) Fay; as well as by her brother Real (Theresa) Alarie. Lovingly remembered by sisters-in-law Helen Dmytruk, Frances Badman, Beverly Dodd, Carol, Joan and Maxine Ford; and by brother-in-law William Ford. 

 

Also lovingly remembered by special friends Lisa Nagy, Betty Elliott, and the Barnett and Sullivan families. 

Predeceased by her husband Clayton Ford; son-in-law Donald Trivers; and brothers Marcel, Jean-Marc and Laurent Alarie. 

 

A memorial service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church in Matheson, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, with Rev. Norma Teigen officiating.

 

Interment Greenhill Cemetery, Matheson.

MARY SMITH

Mary McCarron "May" Smith, owner/operator of Smiddycroft Perennials, of R.R. 4, Kincardine, died at the Hanover and District Hospital on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, in her 80th year. 

 

Beloved wife of William T. Smith. 

 

Dear mother of Bill Smith (Sally Treidlinger), of R.R. 4, Kincardine; Linda (Richard) Gibson, of Barrie; Cindy Smith (Peter Mueggler), of Montreal; and Elaine Smith, of Kincardine.Loving grandmother of Benjamin and Hilary Smith; Christine, Tim and Steven Gibson; Vanessa Mueggler; and Lydia and Margot Treidlinger. 

 

Sadly missed by her sisters Sadie Price, of Toronto, and Ann Colley, of Ajax; as well as by her brother Tommy Callaghan, of Toronto

 

Predeceased by sisters Betty McConvey and Jane Beyore; and by brothers Jimmy and John Callaghan. 

The funeral service was held at Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, with Rev. Ruth MacLean officiating. 

 

Serving as pallbearers were William T. Smith; Bill and Benjamin Smith; Richard, Steven and Tim Gibson; Billy Black and Peter Mueggler. 

 

Flower bearers were Christine and Linda Gibson, Vanessa Mueggler, Hilary Smith, and Lydia and Margot Treidlinger.

GRACE PYM

 

Grace McGee Pym (née Coulter), of Kincardine, died at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre-Kincardine on Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, in her 84th year. 

 

Beloved wife of Jack Pym. 

 

Dear mother of Bill (Susan) Pym, of Port Elgin; John (Elaine) Pym, of Kincardine; Jane Pym (Lorne Power), of Sarnia; Donald (Kim) Pym, of Penticton, B.C.; Richard (Marion) Pym, and Cathy Alcombrack (Doug Kennedy), all of Kincardine. 

 

Lovingly remembered by 16 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. 

 

Sadly missed by sister-in-law Zora Coulter and brother-in-law Cliff Walsh, both of Wingham. 

 

Predeceased by sisters Margaret Walsh, Mae Coulter, Elizabeth Martin as well as by brothers Norm and Jim Coulter. 

 

The funeral service was held at 2 p.m., following an hour of visitation, at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Monday, Aug. 30, 2010, with Rev. James Weir officiating.
