The Kincardine Bulldogs had a couple home wins this week in exhibition play against Goderich and Hanover. Both teams had a lot of rookies playing so it was not a fair indicator of how these teams will be this year. Shawn Burrows is back as head coach and Derrick Burrows is back as an assistant. The Bulldogs have added two new assistant coaches in Mike Fair and Derrick Reiger.

 


FINLAY MacLENNAN

 

Finlay Lorne MacLennan of Kincardine passed away peacefully at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine, surrounded by family, on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, in his 84th year.

 

Beloved husband of the late Carrie MacLennan (nèe Schuler).

 

Dear father of Patsy MacLennan of Kincardine, Diane (Harry) Whetham of Stratford, Tom (Huguette) MacLennan of Durham, North Carolina, Peggy (Dave) Hefkey of Kincardine and Frank (Janice) MacLennan of Toronto.

 


WENDY JONES

 

Gwendaline “Wendy” Ann Jones of Kincardine passed away on Aug. 22, 2018, in her 68th year.

 

Beloved wife of Hugh Jones.

 

Loving mother of Adam (Tanya) Jones of Palmerston and Ben Jones (Yulia Slipenchuck) of Kincardine.

 

Missed by her grandchildren Charity, Felix, Yana, and Sonya.

 


AMY BOUDRIAS

 

With heavy hearts, Les and Janet Ribey announce the passing of Amy Boudrias in Oshawa on Aug.10, 2018, in her 41st year.

 

A funeral was held in Oshawa.

 

Cremation has taken place.

MALCOLM MacDONALD

 

Malcolm (Mac) MacDonald passed away in Kincardine on Aug. 14, 2018, in the loving arms of his family.

 

His family would like to extend their deepest appreciation for the incredible skills and kindness of the doctors, nurses and staff of the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Care Partners, Home and Community Support Services and the South West LHIN and McKechnie and Gordon's pharmacies. Especially dear thanks to Dr. Jason Murray and his team, the Knox Presbyterian Church family and our treasured friends and family.
