IRENE McCONNELL

Irene Margaret (Brown) McConnell, of London,  died at London Health Sciences Centre- University Hospital in London on Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011,  in her 90th year.

Beloved wife of the late Chester P. McConnell.

Dear mother of Bob McConnell and his wife Beverly, of Burlington; and Bill McConnell and his wife Joan; Barry McConnell and his wife Shirley; and Judy Williams, all of London.

Dumb

Do we, in this neck of the woods, have a corner on stupidity? Why is it that if we elect a council to run the municipality these jokers have to hire a manager? And the last one was a real dandy!

The hospital parking - it is so stupid. No one will believe it that an emergency patient has to get a ticket to get in. That is stupid in the most extreme sense. The location of the hospital and the clinic is the most stupid ever - on top of a hill. My God, give your head a shake.
